Overhead line Conductor--AAC

 Standard: DIN 48201  NIS231  BS215  ASTM B 231 NFC 34120 IEC 61089

Specification: aac are composed by bare concentric-lay-stranded aluminum wires with a straight round central aluminum wire  surrounded by one or more layers of helically layed aluminum wires.

 Application:

 *AAC are used in overhead power transmission and distribution lines with various grade voltages.

 *Under the same weight,AAC is with higher DC resistance and lower costthan copper conductor.

 *Aluminum is light and is easy to lay.

 We can also manufacture AAC Cable according to customers special requirements.

 Stranded 1350 aluminum conductors shown in this section of data are classified, as follows: 

Compact strand conductor for use in bare overhead applications or for use with weather-resistant coverings or insulations is also available.

Note: Classes refer to stranding and are an indication of relative conductor flexibility, AA being the least flexible, C the most flexible

AAC bare conductors meet or exceed the following ASTM specifications:

B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350-H119 for Electrical Purposes 
B-231 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded 
B-400 Compact Round Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum 1350 Conductors concentrically stranded.
